HOW JURIS WRITER STARTED

Ever since his first appellate court brief helped turn a $0 recovery into a near half-million settlement by obtaining reversal of a jury verdict a products liability case, Patrick has proven time and again that effective writing can change the fate of a case. Inspired by that first appeal, Patrick has devoted his career to refining his writing skills to deliver arguments that get results for his clients.

Patrick has authored hundreds of briefs, ghostwritten hundreds more, and proofread countless others throughout his career. He has successfully handled cases involving automobile and large truck collisions, construction, premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice, nursing home, insurance bad faith, police procedure, and workers’ compensation, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, and paralysis.

In 2023, Patrick formed Juris Writer a solo practice to focus on writing and researching complex issues to drive meaningful outcomes for other attorneys and their clients.
